By Annie Deakin Do you love coffee makers? I know that I love the one I have. It is so fully automated that I can press the snooze button one more time and wake up to a great pot of coffee. It will be ready even before you can hit the shower. Might as well start the day out with a great cup.
Coffee is the perfect first thing in the morning drink. If you drink it black, add cream or sugar or even the works including some fancy flavoring, that first sip every morning is a reminder for every cell in your body to wake up and smell the coffee. One great feature of coffee that is loved by many is its smell. Just walk by the display in the grocery store and you are tempted to buy more just because of the great smell. Take it home and try it in your new coffee maker. Speaking of coffee makers let me describe the coffee making goddess that I have. Not only does it make the coffee every morning, it grinds its own beans. It also has a timer to start itself every morning. I call my coffee maker Venus, because I am in love. Before turning in for the night, I give Venus her food and water. Okay, I add freshly roasted coffee beans and cold tap water. I can then go to sleep assured that there will be fresh coffee ready for tomorrow. Just after my alarm goes off, I hear the grinder begin grinding those beans to perfection. Hot water is poured over the freshly ground beans and the pot begins to fill with a perfect brew every time. There are coffee makers of every size, form one that is perfect for a single person living alone to a large office or restaurant. Somewhere in the mix, you are sure to find one that is the perfect size just for you. Some coffee makers offer hot water at the touch of a button. This is perfect for a bowl of instant oatmeal, a cup of tea or the kid's hot cocoa. You can have hot water without any wait at all. Making coffee in the past was a big deal. Stovetop percolators had to be watched constantly. Electric percolators were somewhat better, but had nasty coffee grounds that were left in the cup. New coffee makers can work when you are not even in the room. When guests arrive, you can immediately serve your prize winning coffee cake. With today's coffee makers, there is no waiting, no grounds in your cup and lots of great coffee for you to enjoy. Why not call up friends and invite them over today for a great cup. If you have not shopped for coffee makers for a while, you may be stunned bye all the features that are available. Decide which bells and whistles are most important for you and grab that machine. Remember to look for the automatic timer in order to have coffee ready when you get out of the shower.
